Individual therapy sometimes called counseling or psychotherapy is a process through which clients work one on one with a trained therapist to explore their behaviors, beliefs and feelings. Clients may decide to work through current life issues or address challenging parts of their life history that impact their relationships or daily lives. At Canyon Pines Counseling our therapists are here to support clients in addressing these and other areas that they wish to explore and create change, all within a safe, supportive, and confidential environment.
Canyon Pines therapists employ various techniques and modalities to best treat their client’s symptoms and needs. Once you share your symptoms or reasons for attending counseling we will be able to work with you to develop a plan for treatment which outlines goals for therapy, treatment methods to be used, and estimated time for treatment. Therapists at Canyon Pines Counseling are trained in a number of treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), AEDP, Solution Focused Therapy, EMDR and more, depending on the individual needs of each client.
Canyon Pines Counseling, CPC, is here to treat and assist clients with mental, emotional, physical, and behavioral issues, as well as providing therapy for life transitions such as death, divorce, marriage, birth of a child, blending families, empty-nest transitions, re-location stressors/adjustments, and etc. Concerns that may be discussed in therapy include, but are not limited to:
